Do you think you suffer from Stress? Many would say no I’m fine, and some would say Hell Yes!
It’s important to know that Stress may be affecting your health even if you don’t realise it.
That persistent headache, insomnia, teeth grinding, loss of libido, gastrointestinal problems or high blood pressure may all in-fact be caused by Stress.
Stress tends to creep up on you and before you know it you are flat on your back with some seemingly unrelated illness or perhaps it knocks you down with Chronic Fatigue, Adrenal Fatigue or Burnout and only then will you realise, actually yes, Stress has been affecting me!
As it can be hard to pick Stress initially, here are a list of warning signs and ways in which Stress can affect you. If you have any of these issues, it could be a good idea to see a doctor and therapist for a health and stress check.
- HEADACHES
- CHEST PAIN
- FATIGUE
- CHANGE IN SEX DRIVE
- STOMACH UPSETS
- SLEEP PROBLEMS/INSOMNIA
- ANXIETY
- IRRITABILITY OR ANGER
- SADNESS OR DEPRESSION
- OVEREATING/UNDEREATING
This is not a complete list and there are certainly others ways in which Stress can affect you and your health, however these are some common warning signs to look out for which I hope will help.
